New Florida Election Results Website Released
Voters can now opt to track selected races
Tallahassee, Fla (August 17, 2010) - The Florida Department of State, Division of Elections announced today the release of a new election results website called Florida Election Watch at Enight.elections.myflorida.com. A week in advance of the Primary Election, voters can try the new site, including the new tool MyElectionTracker, which allows the voter to select specific races and track those results. The site also provides the new option of viewing the races by county.
“With so many Floridians tracking election results, the Florida Division of Elections wanted to improve the ability of the voter to find their races quickly and easily,” said Florida’s Interim Secretary of State Dawn K. Roberts. “This new site will help anyone who wants to see election results as they come in from around Florida.”
On Election Night, visitors to the main Division of Elections website will be automatically sent to the Florida Election Watch site; however, they can get back to the regular Division site through a link in the top banner. Election results will begin posting after 8 pm EST to accommodate voting in the central time zone counties.
